PRE-APPLICATION INFORMATION REQUEST FOR THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS

The applicant for all programs must have adequate computer skills, have a personal email account, and be comfortable with the use of the Internet, including use of a computer audio headset and microphone.  The applicant will have a personal telephone or cell phone number.  The applicant will have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and will be committed to the inerrancy and authority of the Bible.

This is an open admission degree program.  There is no specified enrollment date.  Qualified individuals may apply at any time, and if accepted commence study.  To start the process of being considered for enrollment, prospective students should complete this Pre-application for Admission.  Upon receipt of the Pre-application, the admissions committee will carefully review the information provided.  There is no charge for the pre-application initial assessment.  However, if the applicant is deemed qualified by the admissions committee, a $50 Application Fee will be required to activate the next phase of the enrollment process.

The applicant for the M.Sc. in Biblical Counseling will have earned from an approved institution:

  • A biblically oriented bachelor's degree of not less than one-hundred twenty (120) semester credits.

  • Or a biblically oriented master's degree of not less than thirty (30) semester credits.

  • In some cases, an individual having earned a bachelor's or master's degree in a non-biblically oriented discipline may be considered if strengthened by compensatory experience of not less than ten (10) years in a pastoral or teaching ministry position.

The applicant for the Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling will have earned from an approved institution:

  • A biblically oriented master's degree of not less than thirty (30) semester credits.

  • Or a biblically oriented doctorate degree.

  • In some cases, an individual having earned a master's or or doctorate degree in a non-biblically oriented discipline may be considered if strengthened by compensatory experience of not less than ten (10) years in a pastoral or teaching ministry position.

The applicant for the Th.D. in Biblical Theology will have earned from an approved institution:

  • A biblically oriented master's degree of not less than forty (40) semester credits.

  • Or a biblically oriented doctorate degree.

Writing in the box below, and using not more than about 125 words (equivalent to about one-half page), tell us what motivates you to consider pursuing an advanced degree in Biblical Counseling.

IMPORTANT:  If you are accepted into this program, you need to have official transcripts from schools previously attended sent to MASTER'S Theological Research Institute within ninety days of enrollment.  NOTE:  If you are a graduate of MASTER'S International School of Divinity, it will not be necessary to request official transcripts.
